Properties: Lustrous leaflets or cryst powder. Darkens on exposure to light. Sol in about 100 parts water; sol in dil acetic acid. Practically insol in alcohol, ether. Aq solns dec quickly under the influence of light and heat. Keep well closed and protected from light.
Therap-Cat: Antibacterial.
