Properties: Hydrate, odorless cryst powder. Sol in water or alcohol. The aq soln is neutral, and has a bitter, astringent taste.
Therap-Cat-Vet: Has been used as an intestinal antiseptic, in dusting powders for ulcers and in ophthalmic solns.
