Derivative Type: Monohydrate
Properties: Large, dark green, monoclinic, hexagonal plates. Becomes dull and disintegrates after several days exposure to air. Sol in water, dioxane, benzene; slightly sol in chloroform, alcohol.
 
Use: In catalysts; in lubricants.
