Properties: White to brownish scales; fecal odor; mp 95°; bp 265-266°. Sol in hot water, alc, benzene, chloroform, ether. With potassium ferrocyanide and sulfuric acid it gives a violet color. MLD in frogs (mg/kg): 1000 s.c. (Bin-Ichi).
