Properties: Prepd from radioactive chromium (51Cr) which has a half-life of 27.7 days. The emission of gamma rays is applicable to biological tagging and tracing. Other properties identical to those of unlabeled sodium chromate.

Use: Protection of iron against corrosion and rusting.
Therap-Cat: 51Cr-labeled compound as diagnostic aid (blood volume determination; blood cell survival).
