Literature References: Volatile oil distilled from fresh orange flowers. Constit. Limonene, l-linalool, geraniol, 7-18% linalyl acetate; some methyl anthranilate, nerol and neroli camphor.
Properties: Yellowish, fluorescent liquid; very intense and pleasant odor; becomes brown on exposure to light. d2525 0.86-0.88. [a]D25 +1.50 to +9.13°. nD20 1.475. Slightly sol in water; sol in 1.5-2 vols 80% alcohol with fine violet fluorescence. Keep well closed, cool and protected from light.

Density: d2525 0.86-0.88
Use: As perfume and flavor.
