Properties: Pale yellow prisms, mp 86°. Sublimes forming leaflets and needles. Volatile with steam. Sparingly sol in water. Aq solns are yellow. Readily sol in ether, benzene, chloroform, hot petr ether, alcohol, glacial acetic acid.
Melting point: mp 86°
