Literature References: Usually contains about 85% zinc cyanide, some water and oxide.
Properties: White powder. Poison! Insol in water; sol in solns of alkali cyanides or hydroxides; not appreciably attacked by organic acids, but readily dec by dil mineral acid with evolution of hydrogen cyanide.
Use: Electroplating; removing NH3 from producer gas.
