Properties: White crystals, mp 155°. Vapor pressure at 25° = 2´10-7 mm Hg. Soly in water at 20°: 27-29 ppm. Sol in CMF, DMSO, N-methylpyrrolidone; moderately sol in tetrahydrofuran. Insol in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, methylene chloride, petroleum ether. Dec to chloral and piperazine salts by conc H2SO4 and HCl; slowly dec to chloroform and piperazine by conc alk. Half life in the soil ~3 weeks. Low toxicity to fish and bees.
Melting point: mp 155°
Use: Fungicide.
