Properties: Colorless or almost colorless, thick, odorless liquid. Miscible with water, alcohol. The soln is neutral.
Use: Instead of glycerol in calico printing; as a plasticizer for casein; as a corrosion inhibitor in alc antifreeze mixture.
Therap-Cat: Electrolyte replenisher; systemic and urinary alkalinizing agent.
Therap-Cat-Vet: Has been used in bovine ketosis.
