Solvents for unmodified polyvinyl chloride of high mol wt: cyclohexanone, methyl cyclohexanone, dimethyl formamide, nitrobenzene, tetrahydrofuran, isophorone, mesityl oxide. Solvents for lower polymers: dipropyl ketone, methyl amyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, acetonylacetone, methyl ethyl ketone, dioxane, methylene chloride.
