Properties: Crystalline solid, mp 90.5°. Vapor pressure at 30°: 3´10-5 mm Hg. Soly in water at 25°: 2.7 g/l. Sol in most organic solvents. Dec by prolonged boiling with acids or alkali. Aq solns are unstable to light. LD50 orally in female rats: 147 (mg/kg) (Baranyovits, Ghosh).
