Properties: Volatile, white, cubic crystals. Very hygroscopic. d19liq 2.543. mp 17.5°. bp 35.0°. Hydrolyzed by water. Forms blue-white clouds in moist air. Soly in anhydr HF: 1.5 moles/1000 g HF, Frlec, Hyman, Inorg. Chem. 6, 1596 (1967). Should be stored in quartz ampuls.
