Properties: Solvated crystals from pyridine, dry at 40° in vacuo. Freely sol in dil solns of alkali hydroxides, slightly sol in hot pyridine. Unstable. Absorption max (10% aq NaOH): 580 nm (EmM 10.5). LD50 i.v. in rats: 4.32 mg/100 g (Lips).
