Properties: Pale-blue to blue-green amorphous powder. Considered to be dimeric. mp ~250°: Grant, Can. J. Chem. 42, 951 (1964). Practically insol in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone, ether. Sol in pyridine, dioxane, acetic anhydride; sol in hot but practically insol in cold benzene, toluene, CCl4, CHCl3, ethyl acetate.
Melting point: mp ~250°: Grant, Can. J. Chem. 42, 951 (1964)
Use: In antifouling paints; in textile and wood preservatives; in rubber aging; as catalyst.
