Properties: Light-colored, mobile to viscid, turbid, brownish-red liquid; aromatic odor. Insoluble in water; sol in alcohol, benzene, chloroform, acetone, glacial acetic acid, carbon disulfide, oil turpentine, ether.
Use: In perfumery.
