Properties: Pale yellow orthorhombic needles, browns at 126° (dec 144°). Explodes on contact with concentrated acid, alkali, or fire. A technical grade exploded on storage. Ka at 25° = 3.3 ´ 10-7. Moderately sol in water. Sol in dil alkalies giving green to brownish green solns. Sol in alc, ether, acetone.
