Properties: Needles from ethanol, dec 162-164°, also reported as dec 150-160° and 140-150°. One gram dissolves in 4900 ml water, 9 ml alcohol, 1.5 ml ether, 105 ml chloroform, 155 ml glycerol; sol in fixed oils.
Therap-Cat: Antiseptic (local).
Therap-Cat-Vet: Antiseptic, disinfectant for superficial lesions and in the female reproductive tract.
