Properties: Mobile, flammable liq. Odor similar to that of cyclopropane. d425 0.786. mp -119°; bp 44.7°; nD20 1.3802. 100 ml of water dissolve 5.5 g of cyprome ether at 25°. Oil-water coefficient: 6.7 (ethyl ether = 4.5). Vapor press. at 26° (measured in nitrometer): 414 mm (ethyl ether = 555 mm). Explosive mixture, lower limit for air or oxygen: 2.0% v/v (ethyl ether vapor = 2.5 v/v).
