Oil-water coefficient: 6.7 (ethyl ether = 4.5). Vapor press. at 26° (measured in nitrometer): 414 mm (ethyl ether = 555 mm). Explosive mixture, lower limit for air or oxygen: 2.0% v/v (ethyl ether vapor = 2.5 v/v).
