Properties: Light green powder. Becomes brown to greyish-yellow on heating, with loss of H2O. Practically insol in water. Slightly sol in acetic acid; sol in NH3, H3PO4; dec by mineral acids.
 
Use: In semiconductors, nuclear reactors; as catalyst for polyester formation.
