Properties: Granules, mp 105-107.5°. Acrid taste. Freely sol in water; very slightly sol in alcohol. Practically insol in benzene, chloroform, ether. The pH of a 25% aq soln is 4.25. May be formulated with calcium citrate for better taste and easier tabletting.
