Properties: Crystals from dioxane + water, mp 175°. Very slightly sol in water. Somewhat more sol in alc. Sol in acetone and dioxane. Neutral reaction. Breaks down in the body with the liberation of free sulfanilamide.
Melting point: mp 175°
