Properties: Square leaflets or tables, seldom rectangular plates; cubic system. d418 2.180. Decomposes on heating to a relatively high temp without prior melting. Soly in water (20°): 74.8 g/100 ml. Sol in acetone, methanol, ethanol, methyl acetate. Does not etch glass at room temp. Slowly hydrolyzed by boiling with strong acids.
