Properties: Dihydrate, lustrous scales or powder; valerian odor; sweetish taste. Gradually dec on exposure to air. One gram dissolves in 70 ml water or in 22 ml alcohol when free from basic salt; dec by acid. Keep tightly closed and in cool place. |
