Properties: Green, very deliquesc tabular crystals. d 2.88. Disproportionates at 384° to VOCl and VOCl3. Slowly dec by water. Sol in abs alcohol, glacial acetic acid. Keep tightly closed.

Use: Has been used as mordant in printing fabrics.
