Properties: Colorless, odorless liq; d2525 0.976; bp 289° with decompn; bp27 177-178°; mp below -80°. Flash pt 146°C. nD25 1.4215. One ml dissolves in about 165 ml water; miscible with usual organic solvents. LD50 orally in rats: 3.0 g/kg (Smyth, Carpenter).
