Properties: Crystals from dilute acetic acid, mp 177-180°. Practically odorless and tasteless. One gram is sol in 3 ml 1N HCl and 10 ml chloroform. Slightly sol in water, ethanol and ether. LD50 in mice, male and female rats (g/kg): >10, 15, <10 orally; >5, >2.5, >2.5 i.p. (Sugawara).
