Properties: Crystals, dec 265-275°. uv max (concd H2SO4): 298 nm (A1%1cm 670). Practically insol in water. Complex is slowly dec by trituration with water, or more rapidly by dil aq acids. The dry crystals are strongly electrostatic and present some dry-mixing problems.
