Properties: Cryst substance. mp ~148° with decompn. Very sol in water. Practically insol in chloroform, ether.
Melting point: mp ~148° with decompn
Use: Reagent for detection and determination of cadmium, with which it forms a characteristic cryst ppt in neutral or slightly acid soln.
