Properties: Bluish-white, metallic substance. Calcium fluoride crystal structure. mp 778°. Resistivity (25°): 42,000 microhm-cm; thermoelectric power 90 microvolts per degree for 15-100°. Energy of activation: 22,100 cal/mole. Soluble in water, dilute HCl.
Melting point: mp 778°
Use: In semiconductor research.
