Properties: Pale yellow crystals from pyridine or pyridine + alcohol, mp >300°. Sparingly sol in methanol and 90% hot ethanol, water and chloroform. The aqueous, alcoholic and chloroformic solns fluoresce blue. Absorption spectrum: Karrer et al., loc. cit.
