Properties: Semisolid, waxy mass or syrup. Faint aromatic odor. Liquefies and congeals very slowly. Soluble in methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, glycerol, propylene glycol. Insol in water, oils, fats.
Use: In cosmetic sunscreen prepns (up to 1%).
