Properties: Crystalline solid, mp 159-160°. Vapor pressure at 25°: 2 ´ 10-6 mm Hg. Soly in water at 25°: 200 mg/l. Sol in chloroform, trichloroethylene, aq solns of strong acids and bases. Slightly sol in ethanol; sparingly sol in acetone. LD50 orally in rats: 4000 mg/kg (Bebbington).
