Properties: Blue to blue-green solid. Extremely hard material.
CAUTION: Symptoms of acute toxicity include vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, convulsions, shock, dermatitis; renal, hepatic and CNS degeneration. Symptoms of chronic ingestion include skin disorders, kidney lesions.
Use: As ceramic color, pigment in oil paint; in dehydrogenation catalysis; as insulating and sealing medium for lead wires in lamps and mercury rectifiers, as fireproofing agent and preservative for wood; as fungicide, insecticide, parasiticide.
