Properties: Crystals from light petroleum, mp 134° (Gelmo); mp 128° (Belcher). uv max (0.1N HCl): 254 nm (e 22090). Sol in warm alcohol, ether, benzene, acetone, glacial acetic acid. Practically insol in water and alkalies.
