Derivative Type: Dihydrate
Properties: Crystals from acetic acid + acetic anhydride, mp 111-112°. Heating at 145° and 1 mm for 6 hours gives anhydr compd, mp 172-174°. Somewhat soluble in anhydr ether, very sol in dioxane.
